ERS
The EDILON Corkelast Embedded Rail System makes the use of mechanical fastening systems, such as clips, anchors and base plates, for both the crossing as well as the rail obsolete. Using ERS, the rails are connected to the slab in a flexible yet extremely durable way.
Continuous elastic rail support means that the horizontal and vertical forces are more evenly distributed. Furthermore, the chance of rail fractures compared to traditional crossing systems based on ballast track, is significantly reduced and rail corrugation is effectively eliminated. ERS also offers maximum electrical insulation.
