ESTS
EDILON Slab Track Systems (ESTS) have given assurance and comfort for more than 30 years, for both rail and road traffic. The heavy weight of the ESTS and the distribution of forces are a guarantee for both a durable as well as a settlement free system. In addition ERS also provides significant noise and vibration reduction opportunities, more and more important these days in densely populated areas.
The ERS makes the use of mechanical fastening systems, such as clips, anchores and baseplates, for both the crossing as well as the rail obsolete. Using ERS, the rails are connected to the ESTS rail slab in a flexible yet extremely durable way. Continuous elastic rail support means that the horizontal and vertical forces are more evenly distributed. Furthermore, the chance of rail fractures compared to traditional crossing systems based on ballast track, is significantly reduced and rail corrugation is effectively eliminated. ERS also offers maximum electrical insulation.
