SEDRAPUR® USM FSGR 550 sub-ballast mats
The SEDRAPUR® USM FSGR 550 sub-ballast mats are in conformity with the technical requirements of the Deutsche Bahn (DB) and have been especially developed for urban transit systems.
For some time now, it has been the custom to use elastic mats as bedding for the whole structural slab. Ballast mats from the railway industry have also been used for this purpose. These so-called "floating slab systems" effectively dampen low-frequency solid-borne immissions and vibrations, without impairing the interface between rail and road.
SEDRAPUR® USM FSGR 550 sub-ballast mats are made of a mixture of rubber fibres and granulate in a polyurethane matrix. In addition to its outstanding vibration damping properties, our material is also 100% recyclable. Test reports are available on request. SEDRAPUR® USM FSGR 550 sub-ballast mats are easy to lay and adapt to all surface discontinuities.
