SEDRA SDS®
This system has successfully been installed in numerous tramway systems in Germany and abroad. SEDRA® track bedding systems have proved to be highly effective with regard to isolation of vibrations. The reduction of ground-borne noise was able to be demonstrated on the basis of numerous measurements.
The system comprises SEDRAFER® PU 35, a prefabricated foot profile based on polyurethane, elastic SEDRAPUR® filler blocks and the bituminous SEDRAFER® joint sealing material. As a levelling layer under the foot profile, preferably a bituminous sub-layer of grout, a special mortar or a second PU grout.
The SEDRAFER® PU 35 foot profile is designed to cope with the typical stresses of trams, but its design (spring characteristic) can be adapted to the customers’ express wishes. The SEDRAPUR® filler blocks are optimised with regard to the stresses related to trams and roads, but can also be customized. Depending on the rail profile, the type of mount or joint geometry, solutions tailored to the situation on site will be offered.
