Rail Pads

The primary function of the railpad is the attenuation of impact loads between rail and support. The RP reduces attrition of the surfaces and provides electrical insulation.

Moreover the RP influences the longitudinal rail restraint, and customised solutions for low restraints are available. The material meets the various requirements formulated in UIC fiche 864-5 as well as in EN 13481:2002 series for 'various rail fastening systems' and DIN 45673-1:2000-05 for 'elastic products in rail track'.

Test certificates and approvals are available upon request.
