The edilon)(sedra TRACKELAST Stray Current Protection Mat (SCPM) is made of a high-quality TPE elastomer material. It possesses a very high electric insulation value of >1010 Ohm.

The edilon)(sedra TRACKELAST SCPM is designed for protection against stray current in both ballast and slab track applications. One function of the edilon)(sedra TRACKELAST SCPM is to prevent stray currents. At 20kV the material meets the stringent requirements of EN 60243-1:1998 and DIN VDE 0303-21:1999 for 'electrical strength of insulating materials at power frequencies' and is highly abrasion-resistant.

The edilon)(sedra TRACKELAST SCPM is used in all types of rail tracks where a DC current is applied and is especially suitable for use in slab track systems.
