edilon)(sedra, technical partner for the mega rail project Toluca, Mexico

Observe the installation of our DFS rail fastening system on several viaducts, standing over 35 meters above the ground. A special technical challenge that really demonstrates the rail engineering competence of edilon)(sedra!

Lead engineers from SENER selected the edilon)(sedra DFS-FF ASB system for one of the largest railway projects in Mexico: the new commuter railway track between Toluca and Mexico City. A track designed for speeds of up to 160 km/hr and axle loads of 22.5T.

edilon)(sedra’s competence here is to support the integration of the rail fastenings for different civil engineering structures, which resulted in a cooperation that developed into a strong project partnership.

The Toluca project is a major development in the greater Mexico City area, aiming to reduce traffic congestion, CO2 emissions, and improve safety and mobility.
