First kilometers Corkelast® ERS for track renewal project in Osijek installed

True craftsmanship! This is how the first kilometers of the newly installed tram track in the city of Osijek look. In close cooperation with local engineering and contractor companies, we are working on a challenging track renewal project in Croatia’s fourth largest city.

Approximately 10 km of edilon)(sedra Corkelast® ERS (Embedded Rail System) will be installed in the coming period. Three top layers are applied: concrete, asphalt, and a combination of concrete and artificial grass.

For this EU-funded project, we supply the low-stiffness version of our ERS system, based on our sustainable Corkelast® VA-40 technology, in combination with the edilon)(sedra Trackelast® RS/RPU/2000 resilient strip to achieve optimal vibration damping.

We are proud to be involved at an early project stage with, among other things, providing detailed technical information and offering support with creating molds for the steel rail channels.

We are steadily working on this project and are looking forward to completion, which is scheduled for August 2023.
